Umatilla County preliminary results (contested races only):

County Commissioner Position 1: Cindy Timmons 55.28 percent, Susan Bower 44.33 percent

County Commissioner Position 2: John Shaver 63.3 percent, HollyJo Beers 36.40 percent.

Athena City Council Position 1: Wayne Kostur 44.32 percent, Justin Mitchell 33.24 percent.

Helix City Council Position 6: Zach Buckley 58.62 percent, Robert Park 39.66 percent.

Pilot Rock City Council (Top 3 out of 5): Rhonda Hinkle Lazinka 27.30 percent, Tegan Kaneaster 26.64 percent, Tiffany Schademan 17 percent.

Ukiah City Council Position 4: Linda Kerr 61.33 percent, Robert Johnson 37.33 percent

Umatilla City Council Position 3: Katie McMillan 51.37 percent, Tina Ridings 47.76 percent.

Umatilla City Council Position 5: Dennis McMillan 65.07 percent, Ian Coyle 34.48 percent.

Weston City Council (top 2 of 4): Greg Phillips 37.03 percent, Jennifer Lantz 33.54 percent.

Bond Measure: Umatilla School Bond is passing with 53.58 percent of the vote.

Local option tax: McKay Dam Fire District is passing with 65.58 percent.

Psilocybin business bans are passing in Athena, Echo, Hermiston, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Stanfield, and Umatilla

Morrow County (contested races only):

Boardman City Council: Top three are Roy Drago 25.28 percent, Karen Pettigrew 22.68 percent, Isaac Williams 22.33 percent.

Ione City Council Position 2: Beverly Benson 68.35 percent, Sabrina Bailey Cave 31.65 percent

Irrigon City Council (3 out of 7 candidates): Top three are Michelle Patton 17.27 percent, Heather Bishop 16.04 percent, Benjamin Calvert 15.68 percent. (Gayland Bledsoe has 15.59 percent.)

Morrow County Heppner, Boardman, Irrigon, and Lexington all voted in favor of prohibiting psilocybin businesses.

With 61.35 percent of the vote, Morrow County requires its board of commissioners to meet about moving the state border.
