Umatilla County emergency shelter moves to Sunridge

UMATILLA COUNTY – Umatilla County Emergency Management has relocated its emergency shelter from Blue Mountain Community College to Sunridge Middle School at 700 SW Runnion Ave.
The shelter, with clean air established, is being staged in collaboration with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Umatilla County Public Health, and the American Red Cross.
The shelter is for residents who have been evacuated or are possibly being evacuated due to the wildfires burning in the county.
