Ukrainian exchange students visit John Day

JOHN DAY – Exchange students from Ukraine who are currently attending Baker High School in Baker City recently came to John Day to visit Grant Union Jr./Sr. High School. Former GU and Baker Schools Superintendent Mark Witty along BHS’s Thomas Joseph escorted the four students around the John Day area.

The group swung by KJDY Studios and joined show host Logan Bagett on an episode of Coffee Time. The visited about similarities and dissimilarities between Ukrainian high school and American high school.
