UMATILLA COUNTY – The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners is holding a land use hearing Wednesday at 9 a.m. Developer Kal Garton is asking the board to appeal a ruling to deny a land revision request. Garton requested the appeal on Aug. 14, 2024.
The meeting will be held in Room 130 of the Umatilla County Courthouse in Pendleton. It is open to the public and will be available on Google Meets as well at https://meet.google.com/mfj-jviy-pxj?authuser=0&hs=122.
Garton is seeking to partition property into three lots. The land in question is located south of Highway 730 and east of Pleasant View Road. It’s along the Umatilla/Morrow county border about three miles west of the city of Umatilla. The three parcels would be 2.06 acres, 2.02 acres, and 4.02 acres.
