UAS Accelerator open house includes giving grants to new cohorts

PENDLETON – Oregon UAS Accelerator held a grand opening on Friday night for their facility at Eastern Oregon Regional Airport. Members of the community were able to look at all the facility had to offer, including hangar space and works paces before a ceremony outside the massive hanger doors took place to award the 2025 spring cohorts a $20,000 grant each.

As 2025 cohorts the innovators also receive access to the Pendleton UAS range, dedicated office and workspace at the facility and mentorship from industry experts.

The selected innovators are:

DroneSpotter, which is developing technology to help various entities such as law enforcement be able to track drones in real time to assist in airspace awareness.

ZizDefense, developing defense architecture to help with defense against unmanned vehicle threats.

Morgan Geospatial, a provider of unmanned vehicle services that is looking to develop unmanned aircraft system (UAS) airframes for enhanced performance and extended flight.

3Autonomy, is developing a quadrotor platform that is National Defense Authorization Act compliant, with a focus on reshoring supply chain components for the U.S. UAS market.

Accipter Aeroworks, developing a solar powered drone capable of traveling long distances and durations.

These innovators will also have the opportunity to pitch their products to investors at the 2025 Pendleton Innovator Showcase in May.
