KENNEWICK – Two teenage boys, ages 15 and 16, both from Pasco, have been arrested in connection to the murder of Ricardo Rivera, 17, on April 28, 2022. On that date, the Kennewick Police Department responded to the 2100 block of North Rhode Island and located Rivera with an apparent gunshot wound.
Before officers responded to the scene, witnesses reported multiple males were running from the location. Rivera was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
On Feb. 23, the U.S. Marshal’s Service located and arrested a 15-year-old boy in Burien, Washington. On Wednesday, a 16-year-old boy turned himself into authorities.
The investigation into Rivera’s murder previously led to the arrest of Jacob Young Jr., 18, and a 15-year-old boy.
In total, four suspects have been arrested, all charged with the alleged crime of first-degree murder.
