NYSSA — Two suspects who were allegedly involved in an assault with the use of a firearm have been apprehended, according to Nyssa Police. The assault was reportedly committed in Ontario.
Nyssa PD reports that on Friday, January 10th, at approximately 5:55 p.m., law enforcement located the suspect vehicle near Walnut Ave. and N 6th Street in Nyssa. Malheur County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene, and two subjects (who were not named in the press release) were detained without incident. Nyssa Police writes, “There is no community threat and this was an isolated incident.”

At approximately 5:55pm your Nyssa Police Department located a suspect vehicle associated with the use of a firearm and an assault out of Ontario Oregon. The vehicle was stopped on Walnut Ave. and N 6th St. With the assistance of Malheur County Sheriff’s Office the two subjects in the vehicle were detained without any incidents.
