Two runaway juveniles and an adult male located

UNION, OR – The Union County Sherriff’s Department earlier this week located two (2) juvenile runaways from Washington State, accompanied by an 18 year old male after receiving a report of a theft in progress at Walmart in Island City. All three (3) took off from Washington State a few days ago in a stolen vehicle and in possession of a stolen hand gun. The vehicle was recovered by Pendleton Police over the weekend in Pendleton. The hand gun was located on one (1) of the juveniles by Union County Deputies. The parents of the juveniles have been notified as well as the Washington authorities. According to Union County Sheriff Cody Bowen, the investigation is ongoing.
