Two deceased after shooting in Ontario

On October 24, 2021, at approximately 7:27pm, emergency dispatch in Malheur County received reports of multiple shots fired at 625 Alameda Drive (Rosewood Apartments) in Ontario, Oregon. When law enforcement arrived, two deceased males were located at the scene. They were later identified as Martin Esteban Navarro (38) and Christian Holman (45). The manner of death is believed to be homicide, but that is yet to be confirmed.
The Malheur County Major Crimes Team was activated and the Oregon State Crime Lab was called in to gather evidence at the scene. Autopsies for the two victims have been scheduled. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate all information and potential suspects. The crime appears to have been personal in nature, and not a random act. No arrests have yet been made at the time of this release.

A shooting at the Rosewood Apartments, just south of Albertsons, in Ontario, Oregon resulted in the death of two men last night.  According to the Malheur County District Attorney, the incident took place at approximately 7:45 pm last night.  The investigation is ongoing.  No arrests have been made at this time.
