Two-Day Blood Draw event collected 222 units, roughly a ¼ of the goal for 2022

LA GRANDE – Another successful La Grande Community Blood Drive is in the books. This week organizers held a two-day event, Tuesday and Wednesday that resulted in a total of 222 units being collected.

This came after having to overcome some issues on Tuesday regarding a shortage of tags and having to close the event early. However, thanks to an enthusiastic response from the community, collects on Wednesday made up for the early closure.

The next draw is scheduled for June 15^th and 16^th. For 2022 the goal is to collect 1,000 units overall.
