Two calves killed by wolves near Suplee Hot Spring in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY – Wolves have killed two more calves in the area of northeastern Grant County. Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Wolf Depredation Investigation documents show that on November 18th, 2025, a dead 8-month-old calf was found in a private 5-acre pasture in the Suplee Hot Spring area. It was confirmed by investigators that the calf was killed by wolves associated with OR183.

The following day, on November 19th, another 8-month-old calf was killed by OR183 wolves in a 1-acre private land pasture in the Suplee Hot Spring area. Documents show that with both incidents, the attacks happened just hours before each investigation.
