Two arrested after reports of packages being stolen from front porch

BAKER CITY – (Release from the Baker City Police Department) On Saturday January 30th, 2021, Baker City Police Department patrol officers responded to a report of a package being stolen from a front porch and the suspect leaving in a vehicle.  About an hour later the described vehicle was located by patrol officers in the Albertsons Parking lot in Baker City where the driver and passenger were contacted by police.  

As a result of the investigation officers located that stolen package in the car and the passenger, KYLE ANDREW WALDRON, age 35 was arrested for Theft II and Criminal Trespass II.  During this incident Baker City Police also recognized that Mr. WALDRON was the same individual in a video surveillance from Safeway in which the suspect had committed burglary II and theft II from Safeway in Baker City earlier in the month. In addition to the above charges for the stolen package he was also lodged on the Burglary II and theft II from the earlier Safeway case.  During the officer’s investigation into the stolen packages, the driver of the vehicle, PEARL NAOMI ADAIR, age 40 was found to be in possession of a user amount of methamphetamine.  She was cited and released.
