Trickle your faucet during extreme cold snaps

GRANT COUNTY – The Public Works Department in Prairie City wants to remind all Grant County residents within municipalities to trickle their water when the temperature drops far below freezing. Public Works Director Chris Camarena says, “The frost level has lowered, and this increases the risk of frozen pipes.”
Tonight, lows could drop below zero degrees Fahrenheit according to the National Weather Service.
