Trick-or-Treating, a little different this year

LA GRANDE/BAKER CITY – Trick-or-Treating will be a little different from the downtown tradition in La Grande this year.  The La Grande Parks and Rec will be having a drive-thru Halloween Party at Riverside Park (October 31, 2020).  The Halloween event will begin at 4 pm with Best Decorated Car, Carnival Toll Games (from inside the car), Prizes, Music, Jack-O-Lantern Contest (must be submitted before the event), and of course, Candy.  The La Grande Parks and Rec is looking for volunteers or Sponsors, for more information at:  McKayla @ mckayla.nitz@cityoflagrande.org

The Baker City Kiwanis have announced that they will hold a Trick or Treat event on Halloween for the children of Baker County.  Trick or Treating will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Halloween in the Sunridge Inn parking lot.  

According to the Kiwanis, Health Department guidelines for social distancing and face masks will be followed.  There will be a designated entrance and exit allowing the group to maintain 250 people in the Halloween area at any one time.If you have any questions, please refer them to the Chamber of Commerce.
