WALLA WALLA – A couple facing multiple charges for alleged child sex crimes are scheduled to be back in Walla Walla County Superior Court this afternoon (Monday) for assignment for jury trial and appointment of counsel.

Jesse C. DeLarosa and his wife, Tamara, were arrested in Brownsville, Texas last summer on outstanding warrants and extradited back to Walla Walla County.

He is charged with three counts of indecent liberties, one count of rape of a child and four counts of child molestation, which are all felonies. The alleged abuse involved several children he knew and occurred between 2004 and 2017 in Walla Walla.

She is charged with first-degree rendering criminal assistance and tampering with a witness, both felonies.

In March, the DeLarosa’s were taken into custody for violating the conditions of their pretrial release.

The Walla Walla Police Department reported he was wearing an ankle bracelet. However, between him and her, one or both went somewhere they weren’t supposed to and communicated with someone they weren’t supposed to.
