Travel lanes will be closed for freeway construction

MEACHAM, OR – The Department of Transportation wants to let drivers know that the left lanes of I-84, between milepost 237 and 241 will remain closed this week for placing new concrete barriers in the center median. Also, Tuesday thru Thursday night the right lanes of both eastbound and westbound will be closed between the hours of 6:30 pm and 6:30 am to accommodate the patching of deteriorated asphalt before the winter weather sets in. Be extra cautious when driving during the night time hours as workers and equipment will be very close to traffic.
