Titus pleads guilty to theft and escape charges

CANYON CITY – A man will spend time in jail on an escape charge, according to recent Grant County Circuit Court documents. Austen James Titus, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of Escape in the Third Degree and one count of Theft in the Third Degree.
Titus was sentenced to 20 days in jail and placed on Bench Probation for 12 months. Two other counts were disposed with no conviction.
