Three treated for smoke inhalation following Christmas day fire in Milton-Freewater

MILTON-FREEWATER – Three people were transported for smoke inhalation following
a house fire on Christmas day.
The Milton-Freewater Fire Department, along with Milton-Freewater Rural Fire and EMS
responded at 5:25 p.m. to a structure fire on the 500 block of Elzora Loop.
MFFD Chief Shane Garner said the structure sustained minor heat and smoke damage
to one room of the structure. Garner said the cause was unintentional but did not
provide any further details.
