BAKER & WALLOWA COUNTIES – ODFW has confirmed three additional wolf depredations between Baker and Wallowa Counties. The first incident occurred in Baker County in the Clover Creek area on Private land and was originally investigated on October 20. The incident resulted in two dead sheep and a third injured. The depredation has been attributed to the Keating Pack.
The other two incidents both took place in Wallowa County. The first of these two attacks occurred in the Grossman Creek area on private land and was originally investigated on October 23. The incident resulted in a single injured cow and has been attributed to the Wildcat Pack.
The second of the Wallowa County attacks occurred in the Cross Canyon area on public land and was originally investigated on October 26. The depredation resulted in the death of a single cow and has been attributed to the Wenaha Pack.
