WALLA WALLA – Three people suspected of burglary at a vacant apartment on the 100 block of North Spokane Street in Walla Walla are now in custody.
On Monday at 2:20 p.m., police arrested Shane Cameron Pickett, 50; Mark Elvis Nottingham, 62; and Kassidee Grace Klem, 23, all from Walla Walla, after entering the vacant apartment and causing an estimated $450 worth of damage inside.
Pickett is charged with failure to comply, third-degree malicious mischief, and second-degree burglary. Both Nottingham and Klem are charged with third-degree malicious mischief and second-degree burglary.
Sgt. Mike Loudermilk says Monday’s incident is unrelated to similar burglaries that recently occurred near Walla Walla High School.
