HELIX – Wheatstock Music Festival has announced its lineup for the two-day event in the rural farming town of Helix on Aug. 21-22 at the Helix Rodeo Arena. Friday’s headliner is Them Dirty Roses. The headliner for Saturday will be Wyatt Flores.
It’s the 20th year for the festival and 100 percent of the proceeds go to Helix and Weston-McEwen high schools’ senior scholarships, the Helix school music program, and Cross the Divide Veterans program. To date, Wheatstock has raised more than $150,000 for those charities.
Opening for Them Dirty Roses on Friday will be Kenny Feidler and Cody Bartels. On Saturday, Drayton Farley, Tylor and the Train Robbers, Scotty Wilson & Music Medicine, and Corey Peterson are the opening acts for Wyatt Flores.
It’s the fourth year the festival has been held over two days. It features stellar and local Americana, Folk, and Country artists. In addition to the live music there are food vendors, camping, a beer garden, merchandise sales, and a VIP area. It all takes place in a plush grass arena grown inside the Helix Rodeo Grounds. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
Early ticket sales begin Friday (March 20) at Etix.com | Find and Buy Event Tickets or at Home | wheatstockmusicfest where there is also more information about camping and other details.
