MISSION (News release from The Wildhorse Foundation) The Wildhorse Foundation,
a community fund managed by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian
Reservation in partnership with Wildhorse Resort & Casino, is proud to announce the
launch of its newly redesigned website at thewildhorsefoundation.com. This upgrade is
aimed at improving accessibility to the Foundation’s grant opportunities and keeping
communities better informed about its ongoing work in northeastern Oregon and
southeastern Washington.

The newly rebuilt website, developed in partnership with Cayuse Native Solutions,
offers a fresh, user-friendly design, and includes new features that will help visitors stay
up-to-date on the Foundation’s resources and learn more about the many projects
made possible by these grants.

The website now includes a blog where the Foundation will feature grant stories, and
visitors can also sign up for the new quarterly newsletter to stay connected with updates
and announcements, such as upcoming deadlines and resources like webinars for
interested applicants.

The first blog post on the new website highlights a recent grant project – the reopening
of the Hermiston Student Health Center earlier this year. Made possible by a $30,000
grant for the start-up costs, The Wildhorse Foundation is proud to have contributed to
making the space operational and ensuring that students have access to essential
healthcare services right on their campus. This new facility will provide free and
accessible medical care to students throughout the Hermiston School District.

The Wildhorse Foundation has awarded over $18 million since its inception in 2001,
supporting vital projects in areas like public health, education, and environmental
protection in the homeland area of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian
Reservation.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the new website, which will further support our commitment to
giving back to the neighboring communities,” said Ella Meyers, Wildhorse Foundation
Administrator. “We hope that the new resources and tools available on the website will
be useful for applicants in strengthening their proposals and giving them a better
chance of success in securing funding.”

This website launch is part of the Foundation’s ongoing effort to expand its impact and
offer greater insight into how the grants are used to make a difference.
