Enterprise, OR – Enterprise Police Chief, Joel Fish was sworn into the Sheriff’s position Monday after being elected in November. The replacement of the Police Chief David Ham of Seaside was going to move into the position, however the City of Enterprise rescinded his offer. Details were not disclosed by the city. The position for Police Chief opened back up Monday.
Ham’s offer to accept the position was a conditional offer which hinged on a background check, a medical check, and other investigations. Ham will continue as the Seaside Police Chief.
With no current Police Chief, the Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office will assist if Enterprise officers need assistance.
