JOSEPH – (Press release from the Josephy Center for Arts & Culture) The Josephy Center for Arts & Culture, in partnership with The Josephy Library of Western History & Culture and a Nez Perce support team, is proud to announce the return of its Nez Perce art exhibition, The Nez Perce Story Continues, opening Saturday, June 6, 2026, and running through July 25, 2026.
Developed in collaboration with Nez Perce curator Jordan Shawl and a Nez Perce support team, this year’s exhibition expands on a predecessor that drew an enthusiastic community response. The 2025 show featured ten Nez Perce artists presenting more than 40 works of art, and this year the Josephy Center looks forward to welcoming an expanded roster of artists and an even broader collection of work.
The exhibition will showcase both traditional and contemporary Nez Perce art, offering visitors a rich and layered view of Nez Perce artistic tradition and its living, evolving expression. Through a diverse collection of works, the show celebrates the innovative voices and enduring cultural heritage of the Nez Perce people.
