The FBI does not demand money

ALBANY/HARNEY COUNTY-Leo Lioo sent his fake FBI “credentials” to an Albany resident while demanding she withdraw $30,000 from her bank account. He told her that her account was compromised and she was helping him crack a case but she couldn’t tell anyone about it.

Also, no worries, “he would keep her moola safe for her.”

The resident said, “Well, Mr. Lioo, while you are pretty convincing, I ultimately did not fall for your nonsense.”

The Harney County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind you, do not give your hard-earned money away. The FBI will not call you to be an undercover agent for them, no will they ask you to withdraw your life-savings.
