The City Of Burns Is Actively Enforcing City Code Violations

BURNS, OR- The City of Burns is actively enforcing City Code Violations. Most citizens can initially expect a warning for violations, as our goal is to seek voluntary compliance for violations. Repeated violations will result in citations, fines, abatement, etc. depending on the severity of the violation and frequency.
In the past week, numerous warnings were issued for parking of trailers, motorhomes, vehicles, etc. that were/are illegally parked. In many cases, these vehicles are parked on the city sidewalks. Some violators came to city hall last week to express their disgust at not being allowed to park on sidewalks any longer.
