LA GRANDE – Sheldon and Linda Strand, La Grande Community Blood Draw Coordinators want to thank all that participated the past two days. The largest to date produced 198 units over the two days. The Strands said, “We are told that a unit of blood can save the lives of 3 people. This means that our two-day effort can have a lifesaving effect on just under 600 people in need of this life preserving substance.”
The event was held at the LDS Church in La Grande and the next drive will be January 26th and 27th.
