LA GRANDE – Linda and Sheldon Strand, Coordinators, of the La Grande Community Blood Drive saw the largest donation total in the history. With 976 units was “Astounding,” said Sheldon. “The November number alone was 260 units. In 2020 when we first contemplated a 2-day drive we were concerned if the community could support the effort. We went ahead for that September drive and haven’t looked back”. The Strands want to thank who all were involved that made the entire draw possible in the year 2021 and looking forward to the coming year.
