The annual Ball Drop and Block Party

LA GRANDE – La Grande Main Street Downtown will help ring in the New Year with a block party and the traditional ball drop. The New Year’s Eve festivities will begin at 10 pm on Adams Avenue and Depot Street. Warming barrels will be set up, a scavenger hunt will take place and hot food and beverages will be offered by downtown businesses. Last year the block party was cancel due to COVID restrictions however the ball drop did continue. Over the weekend the La Grande Fire Department installed the ball which will begin at 11:59 pm.
