PENDLETON – The fog will be moving out today (Tuesday) making way for more active weather patterns at least for the next week. National Weather Service Meteorologist Marc Austin said that there should be mountain snow and valley rain at least until the middle of next week, but there could be an exception.
“You have to keep in mind, we’re going to get some valley rain, but are we going to get any valley snow,” he said. “We’ll just have to see how things pan out.”
The daytime high temperatures will be above freezing, but the nights have Austin concerned.
“Highs start to come up into the 40s and then kind of stay there daily,” he said. “Our lows really linger right around freezing, or maybe a couple of degrees cooler than freezing.”
