RICHLAND — Improvements continue to be made at Hewitt and Holcomb parks out of Richland. The parks serve as access points to the Powder River arm of Brownlee Reservoir, and are popular spots for fishing, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.
The Baker County Parks Department reported Tuesday that the tent trail is getting asphalt, and the Hewitt parking lot is undergoing repairs. Baker County Parks reminds the public that Hewitt Park is closed through April 10th to accommodate the project.
