Ten Eastern Oregon FFA members are in the running for state office

EASTERN OREGON – Activity is starting to increase for FFA members across Oregon. Not only is state convention coming up soon, but the candidates for the 2026-2027 Oregon State FFA officer team have been announced. In total, 26 members are in the running, with ten from Eastern Oregon communities. Local candidates are as follows:
- Jaxon Ford. Baker FFA
- Shylee Davis. Crane FFA
- April L. Lopez. Crane FFA
- Emma Carson. Cove FFA
- Kendra Mansveld. Cove FFA
- Esther Elmer. Cove FFA
- Greta Chamberlain. Nyssa FFA
- Addie Saunders. Vale FFA.
- Tylee J. Evans. Enterprise FFA.
- Laynie Harmon. Prairie City FFA.
Commenting on the effort and responsibility required to be part of the state officer team, Oregon FFA would write in a recent announcement:
“Choosing to run is not a small decision. It requires courage, preparation, and a deep commitment to serving more than 15,000 members across our state. These candidates have met the qualifications, submitted materials, and are ready to participate in the rigorous selection process ahead.
Over the coming weeks, they will engage in interviews, activities, and evaluations designed to identify the next team who will represent Oregon FFA with integrity, professionalism, and heart.”
