WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla police officers and paramedics responded Sunday afternoon to Pioneer Park for an 18-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle.
Witnesses told police that an argument broke out among a group of teenagers. The 18-year-old male, and possibly others began to physically assault a juvenile male.
To flee the assault, the juvenile left in a vehicle. When the juvenile fled, his vehicle struck the man. The injured man was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center with significant injuries.
The Walla Walla Police Department reports all parties involved have been contacted by law enforcement and are cooperating with the investigation.
