TEC to hold meeting for laid off Prairie City mill workers

PRAIRIE CITY – Here is an update to the Prairie Wood Products Mill story. The mill is still shut down, but the Training and Employment Consortium will hold a meeting for PWP workers who are currently laid off. It will be at the Prairie City High School Cafeteria on Thursday, April 18th, beginning at 2 p.m. Discussions will include unemployment insurance, the healthcare marketplace, WorkSource Center programs, Trade Act, SNAP benefits, Veterans’ benefits, and more.
