“Swatting” calls made to schools across the state today, no threats found locally

EASTERN OREGON – Multiple schools across the state have received “swatting” calls today, increasing law enforcement presence around schools and/or school lockdowns. Swatting means that the schools have received prank calls that require emergency services to respond. At this time we have spoken to multiple law enforcement agencies in the local area who believe that there is no threat to the school at this time. We will update this post if/when any new information is released.
