Suspects sought in WA massage parlor raids

WENATCHEE – The Columbia River Drug Task Force has identified two suspects as part of a human trafficking organization after detectives were made aware in 2022 of two massage parlors in Washington state being fronts for prostitution.

Over the course of the investigation, Linhui Yan, 60, and Yan Yang, 43, both from Tacoma, were identified and warrants were issued for their arrest. Charges include leading organized crime, promoting prostitution, and money laundering. Neither suspect is in custody.

On March 1, the task force detectives served warrants at two massage parlors in Wenatchee located on the 400 block of North Mission Street and 300 block of North Chelan Avenue; and a massage parlor on the 6200 block of West Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick; as well as two residences in Tacoma.

Last week’s joint operation involved the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Wenatchee Police Department, East Wenatchee Police Department, Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, Kennewick Police Department, South Sound Gang Task Force, Washington State Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This is an ongoing investigation and the task force will release additional details when conditions warrant.
