Suspect wanted in Ontario robbery/false imprisonment

ONTARIO — Ontario Police are searching for a male suspect, approximately 6’3” tall, who is wanted for robbing an Ontario business and tying up the lone employee before fleeing. Read the full press release below:

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, at approximately 12:18 a.m., officers with the Ontario Police Department responded to a reported robbery that had just occurred at Winner’s Horseshoe – 1888 N. Park Blvd. The incident took place minutes prior to the call for service, and the suspect had already fled the scene before officers arrived.

According to the initial investigation, a male suspect entered the business at closing time and encountered a lone female employee. The suspect, holding an object, demanded money from the employee. After the employee complied, the suspect bound her to a chair inside an office area using restraints. He then fled from the business in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

The employee was then able to call for assistance. Officers responded and confirmed she was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a male, believed to be approximately 6’3” tall, wearing dark clothing and a face covering.
