Suspect in Pasco gas station shooting arrested

PASCO – Pasco police arrested a man Tuesday night after officers were dispatched at 7:40 p.m. to the Stop and Go gas station, 221 South Tenth Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a victim shot in the face.

Medics transported the victim to the hospital with a graze wound to the cheek. No further details were released regarding the victim.

A preliminary investigation determined the suspect was Kenneth Place, 44. He was arrested shortly after the incident at his home on the 900 block of West Ainsworth Place. He was booked into the Franklin County Jail for first-degree assault.
