KENNEWICK – A Connell man was arrested Saturday night following a disturbance in the Kennewick Walmart parking lot. The ensuing investigation showed that Jeromy Dale Clark, 31, the man Kennewick police arrested, has allegedly been involved in multiple motorcycle thefts recently.
Officers were called out to the Kennewick Walmart at 7:50 p.m. Saturday. One of the 911 callers reported they were attempting to restrain Clark, who was involved in the theft of a motorcycle in Richland a couple of days prior to the disturbance.
After further investigation, police learned Clark allegedly stole three motorcycles between Oct. 28 and Saturday throughout the Tri-Cities area. Police said Clark arrived at the Kennewick Walmart Saturday night riding a motorcycle which had been stolen out of Pasco earlier that day.
Clark refused to comply with the officer’s commands and assaulted an officer during his arrest. It took multiple officers to successfully place Clark into custody. Clark was booked into the Benton County Jail on multiple charges.
