Susie Combs awarded Grant County Classified Staff Crystal Apple

PRAIRIE CITY – Susie Combs, longtime Secretary and “moral adhesive” that holds Prairie City School District together, was awarded a Grant County Classified Staff Crystal Apple at Tuesday night’s Back to School Night. Parents, students, staff, and community members gathered at the Prairie City gymnasium. Rhonda McCumber introduced this year’s staff at the assembly, and handed Susie her green Crystal Apple, along with a certificate.

Susie said has been with Prairie City School District for 39 years. Her family members were present to share in the celebration.

Grant County Education Service District awards the Crystal Apples to one teacher and two classified staff.
