BOARDMAN โ€“ Omega Morgan will begin transporting oversized loads at night from Boardman to the Oregon-Idaho border beginning tonight (June 16) and continuing for approximately three months.

The company said the designated route includes US 730, OR 37, US 30 in Pendleton, US 395, US 26, and OR 201. The operations are planned to happen overnight to ensure safety and minimize traffic disruptions.

Drivers traveling along the route should anticipate temporary delays and pilot vehicle escorts to guide traffic around the oversized loads. Omega Morgan officials encourage motorists to exercise caution, adhere to traffic control measures, and allow additional travel time during evening hours.

โ€œWe are committed to ensuring the safe and efficient transport of these loads while minimizing the impact on the communities we serve,โ€ Omega Morgan spokesperson Doug Smith said.

Elkhorn Media Group has inquired about the number of superloads that will be moving and what specifically the company is hauling. We have also requested an exact map of the route from both Omega Morgan and the Oregon Department of Transportation. When we receive that information, we will publicize it.
