IRRIGON โ Suffolk Construction Company, which is currently building data centers in Morrow County, delivered four vehicles filled with school supplies for the district. Each school created a wish list of supplies and resources, and every wish was granted.
The Morrow County School District reports the response was overwhelming. Some of the items received include pencils, electric sharpeners, paint supplies, student sitting spots, headphones for testing, indoor recess games, and playground balls.
โThis area is close to my heart and itโs important to work someplace with morals you can get behind,โ Suffolk Project Manager Misti Stefani said. โReinforcing the core value of caring is at the top of our to-do list every day.โ
Suffolk ensures its trade contractors keep connected to opportunities for local giving, especially focusing on children, schools, food pantries, and toy drives. School district officials say the company has a long-standing commitment to give back to the places where they live and build.
โOur district has been the beneficiary of Suffolkโs generosity for nearly two years now through school supply drives and holiday giving programs,โ MCSD Human Resources Director Erin Stocker said. โBut this year, we are simply in awe of the generosity and support that has been shown.โ
