Students from Ontario’s sister city Ōsakasayama visit fire station

ONTARIO — Did you know that Ontario, Oregon has a sister city? It’s in Japan, and the city is called Ōsakasayama. According to Ontario Fire and Rescue, exchange students from Ontario’s sister city recently took a tour of the local fire station.

OF&R report that the tours included a ride in the fire trucks, and the students were all, “VERY excited to be here and have a hands-on experience of the world that is Ontario Fire and Rescue!”

Ōsakasayama, Japan has a population of around 58,000 people.
