Students collect food items for food bank

WALLOWA, OR – This month, the Wallowa School District students completed their food drive collecting 684 food items.  The food drive began January 20th.  The top classes were 6th grade with 166, 4th grade with 148, and 3rd and 4thgrades tied at 61 food items.  All of the food donations will be donated to the Wallowa Food Bank.  The winning class that collected the most items will be awarded with an ice cream party.
