JOSEPH– Staff, students and families in Joseph have been alerted that upon arrival to school on Monday, February 27ththat they will see a car wreck enclosed in a special plexiglass trailer in the staff and student parking area.
This trailer is scheduled to be at the school for viewing through the week and according to Joseph Charter School “is part of partnership project between ODOT and Joseph FCCLA. The purpose of its presence is to be a reminder to all of the importance of driving distraction free. When you are behind the wheel, please do not let anything shift your focus away from the road. Nothing is worth the dangers of driving while distracted and risking your life and the lives of others. Do not allow passengers, stress, sleepiness, phones, the radio, or food to take your eyes and mind of the road. Please allow this project to create healthy conversations between you and your friends and family. Discuss ways to stay safe while driving or riding in a car. You are just too loved to lose!”
