The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its Academic All-Conference honors for winter sport student-athletes Tuesday morning. Eastern Oregon University had 19 athletes make the list for their performance in the classroom.
To earn recognition as a CCC All-Academic selection, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and be at a sophomore standing or higher.
The Mountaineer women led the charge with 12 of the 19 selections to the All-Academic Team. EOU women’s basketball brought in seven All-Academic honors, followed by women’s wrestling with five. Men’s wrestling had four honorees, followed by men’s basketball with three.
The Mountaineers continue to show their strength in the classroom after posting a cumulative department GPA of 3.160 for the fall term. The full list of Mountie winter sport student-athletes that were selected are below.
