Street closures planned for La Grande’s Shamrock Shuffle

LA GRANDE – The La Grande Police Department has issued a street closure notice for Saturday, March 16, as part of La Grande Main Street’s annual Shamrock Shuffle.

During the event, Depot Street will be closed between Washington Ave and Adams Ave, and between Adams Ave. and Jefferson Ave. The closure will last between 7:30 a.m. and noon. According to Main Street, Adams Ave will not be closed, though traffic may temporarily be stopped at some point to allow the event’s 10k runners to pass. Drivers should plan to use an alternate route for the duration of the event.
