BAKER CITY — In anticipation of Baker City’s “Twinkle in Time” festivities and Jingle Bell Jubilee Holiday Parade, residents and visitors are advised to take note of temporary street closures that will enhance the atmosphere in the downtown area.
From 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Saturday, December 2, Main Street will be closed between Valley and Washington for the “Shop Hop,” allowing pedestrians to explore local stores and embrace the holiday spirit.
Following that, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, Main Street will see closures between Auburn and Church for the annual “Cookie Crawl,” offering a sweet and savory journey through participating bakeries.
As the sun sets, Main Street will be closed between Auburn and Campbell from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the much-anticipated holiday parade and tree lighting.
Residents are encouraged to plan their day accordingly, taking advantage of the various activities while being mindful of the temporary street closures.
