Street closure planned along Adams Ave, La Grande, September 21

LA GRANDE – The La Grande Police Department has announced a street closure for Saturday, September 21, due to The Local Block Party/Cade McKinely Event. A portion of Adams Ave will be closed between the intersection of Fir Street and The Local’s driveway (east of Greenwood Street). A stretch of Greenwood Street will also be closed between the intersections of Adams Ave and Washington Ave. The closure is expected to last from approximately 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Drivers should plan an alternative route if necessary and watch for increased pedestrian traffic near the closure area.

The closure is to accommodate a fundraiser being held for Cade McKinley and Family. Cade is a student at La Grande High School who is battling cancer.
