Stolen vehicle found submerged near Ice Harbor Dam

BURBANK — Deputies from the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office were alerted Friday afternoon to a vehicle in the Snake River above Ice Harbor Lock and Dam.

The lock master was alerted and Columbia Basin Dive Rescue, Walla Walla County Fire District No. 5, Franklin County Fire District No. 3 and deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded.

The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen out of Franklin County. The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office said it was confirmed no one was in or missing from the vehicle.
